Recently, Zhejiang Yiyuan Electrostatic Technology Co., Ltd. participated in the drafting of two national standards for electrostatics, GB/T 37977.41-2024 "Electrostatics Part 4-1: Standard Test Methods for Electrical Resistance of Floor Covering and Assembled Flooring in Specific Applications" and GB/T 37977.43-2024 "Electrostatics Part 4-3: Standard Test Methods for Footwear in Specific Applications", which have been officially approved and released, and will be implemented from March 1, 2025.
Standard No.: GB/T 37977.41-2024
Standard name: Electrostatics - Part 4-1: Standard test methods for specific applications - Resistance of floor coverings and assembled floors
Standard Scope: This document serves as the standard test method section for specific applications in the GB/T 37977 series, specifying the test methods for determining the resistance of various floor coverings and assembled floors within the resistance range of 10E4 Ω to 10E13 Ω, including ground resistance, point-to-point resistance, and vertical resistance. Laboratory evaluation tests conducted under specified environmental conditions can be used for grading or quality management. Tests conducted on assembled flooring under uncontrolled environmental conditions can be used to evaluate installation compliance or as part of ongoing system validation testing.
Standard No.: GB/T 37977.43-2024
Standard name: Electrostatics Part 4-3: Standard test methods for specific applications Footwear
Standard Scope: This document serves as the standard test method section for specific applications of the GB/T 37977 series of standards, providing a method for measuring resistance for footwear (shoes, slippers, or boots) that controls the electrostatic potential of the human body. This measurement method is suitable for manufacturers or users. This method is applicable to the acceptance test of new shoes and also to the periodic inspection of shoes in use. Although this document does not include personal safety requirements, all footwear used in workplaces within the scope of this document must comply with relevant laws and regulations regarding personnel health and safety. Although the test methods specified in this document are applicable for measuring the resistance of insulated footwear, insulated footwear is not within the scope specified in this document.
